This project was completed in the Spring of 2022 under the supervision of Suzanne Chamlin-Richer. It is a combination of various items typically found in my studio space, and a large-scale oil painting of Michelangelo’s David. I was inspired to paint the David by a prior trip to Florence. I also was excited by the idea of using oil paint for the first time, and painting it from a challenging angle.
